Our goal is to provide uniforms, mat, linen, and facility service solutions to our customers in the most sustainable way possible. From lowering the amount of water, chemicals, and energy we use per washed garment to investing in a state-of-the-art wastewater recycling plant we are proud to lead the industry in sustainability. We also realize there is always more we can do to look after our province. Here are some highlights of our growing list of environmentally friendly solutions we have implemented:

• Operating a state of the art waste water treatment system to reduce water usage by over 80% with nearly 100% being filtered before being discharged

• Using eco-friendly wash chemicals

• Reducing natural gas consumption by over 30% through heat reclamation

• Implementing a hard-to-recycle program and compost program for our entire team to help reduce waste at work and at home

• Participating in environment Q-Crew events

• Repurposing retired garments and mats

• Upgrading all our lighting throughout the building to high efficiency LED lights

• Collect and recycle pens found in garments before they enter the wash

• Employing a fleetwide “no idle” policy for delivery trucks and other work vehicles

• Environmental metric tracking and creating an Environmental Committee

• Installing GPS technology in our delivery fleet for efficient vehicle routing

• Opting for high efficiency industrial machinery, dryers, boilers and air compressors in our plant

• Investing in reusable equipment such as carts, baskets and laundry bags

• Wire hanger repair program with hangers too damaged for repair being recycled

• Invoicing by email and hand-held scanners while using 100% recycled paper
